Why is it that a St. Paul property can be on the market for 132 days without any offers, yet the day MY client decides to write a purchase agreement, another offer comes to the table making it a multiple offer? It must be Murphy's Law Number 834!

Maureen, We still don't have the final answer. My client ended up being the first of 3 offers and another was countered. If the first counter is not accepted they will make the same counter to us. It's nerve wracking to say the least!

It is the California Principle. I purchased property for a developer for two years, in California. It was during a serious market slump. Every property we went after had anoter buyer. Strange. We waited for the other to buy or not, even stranger we got all 17 properties.
