Should we have started with the Saint Paulasaurus instead of with the Candyland Dino? Would it not have been better to talk about our city first? To let the people see the Capitol, Landmark Center, Grand Ave., Summit Ave., University Ave., Como Park, the Science Museum, the Mississippi, the St. Paul Cathedral and Fort Snelling? Eeeek! Each of those areas alone would take several posts! How could we even begin to describe Saint Paul with just a little dinosaur? Nevertheless, the Saint Paul RiverCentre Convention and Visitors Authority (now what on earth is that?) did this dino for Saint Paul. He's standing on a very rough map showing the more generic neighborhoods and just a few of the good things to see are painted on his sides. His location? Rice Park which is bounded by the James J. Hill library, the Ordway, the Landmark Center, and the St. Paul Hotel! A great place for a dino advertising Saint Paul's attractions!

T, you're always scooping me! Just because our great minds go down the same path doesn't mean we can enjoy the fun. Note you scooped my church idea as well, but I didn't do those posts. I really had wanted to do Peanuts characters but they all disappeared when the dinos came out. I think the dinosaurs must have scared them away!
