Well, it seems I've checked out long enough and have to return to the salt mine! It's been a pleasant time away enjoying family, catching up on paperwork, and generally moving forward in life. Family . . . that's what the holidays are about. It wouldn't matter if I received no presents or could give no presents, being together is the biggest present of all.
It's my sincere hope that your holidays were rich with special people in your lives. Whether those people were family, or adopted family (sometimes "chosen" sisters are closer than real ones!), I hope that you all came away richer for the time spent together.
