I've sat down several times to make the first entry to my "baby" blog and experienced writer's block everytime. The thought of my words being broken into tiny little fragments and sent into the netherworld via a fantastic electronic miracle and reassembled on someone's computer in Australia or Mars overwhelms me. I've got stage fright!
Why go through this misery? Good question!
- My websites are too small to post all the thoughts I have about real estate.
- Websites are supposed to be more professional and not so personal.
- I talk too much!?!
- Blogging is a better venue for sharing comical situations.
- The possibility exists for more interaction.
So, the stage lights come up and I step forth with gelatin knees.
The first housekeeping issue is a disclaimer. Real estate is local, local, local. If you are truly in Australia and reading my thoughts, remember a local real estate professional is the best source for real estate information in your area. Customs regarding home inspections; how title is transferred; who acts as the closing agent; whether city inspections are required; how agency representation is practiced; the system REALTORS use to show a house that's for sale; how fast houses are selling and for what price; etc., all vary by locale.
Thanks for the compliment, John. Blogging has become a great network tool and expression of who I am. I had no idea how big it would become when I started. By the way, I checked your website and the home page is very nice for a Keller Williams site. No the plain old red and blue of so many.

I have never joined in before, but I have learned more of what I need by paying attention to other bloggers, than I have in seminars I have paid for.
Keep it coming

This is a fabulous first blog. You got it before you began it. Larry Cragun
Thanks, Larry. I'm still going to work on that list of reasons why I blog! BE
