If you want to live a long time and stay warm, move to Hawaii. According to an MSN summary of an Associated Press release, Hawaii has the highest life expectancy at 80 years of age, making it the number one place to live a long life. Number two? Minnesota! Now I don't know if that's because the cold weather kills all the bad bugs, or we're the center for so many good medical facilities, or because we rank second "drunkest" in the nation, but we've got the second highest life expectancy at 78.8 years. Granted the "second drunkest" moniker was not exactly a scientific survey, but "taking a glass of wine for your stomach's sake" appears to not shorten Minnesotan's life expectancy.
Did you see WSJ Online... the drunkest cities thing on Forbes.com was discredited. It was in the Numbers Guy column... Carl Bialik (?) Congrats on being number two on this list.
