As the sun is rising, Jack Frost quickly hides away having left a layer of hoar frost on everything in St. Paul.
The Smith Avenue High Bridge in St. Paul.
Frost coated weeds along the river.
Even the fence has delicate residue left by the frosty man.
Thank you, Jack and Lisa. It's rare that I get something that looks this good, but it was a beautiful morning to take shots. I had an appointment with the airport so got only the tail end of the hoar frost.

Bonnie: One of Winter's pleasures here in the Northland, to be sure! I was called away to Wisconsin, so I was unable to do local photography, but I got a few shots on my travels.
Lovely photos, Bonnie!
