I discovered something new today! In my right side bar is a place that gives my readers the opportunity to sign up to get e-mail updates when I post a new blog entry. The heading says, "GET BLOG UPDATES" with a box underneath for signing up that looks like this:

Being a faithful reader of my own blog, I signed up. Most of the time I get the e-mail update, open it to see what my readers are seeing, check to see if the pictures came through, and move on to the next e-mail in my box. My e-mail updates have a header like this:
Here are the latest updates for (insert your e-mail address).
For some reason today, I scrolled to the bottom of the e-mail and found this line.
Hmmm? What is that funky little speaker symbol? I clicked on it and a new window opened with a link which takes you to an Mp3 play of my blog post! Now I know I'm a dinosaur, but I didn't realize MY blog was being read out loud by an Mp3 computer from Talkr so the rest of the world can hear it! Granted, the "yah, you betcha's" aren't quite as good as if I'd said them, but you get the point. May wonders never cease.
What does this have to do with St. Paul real estate? Not a thing! Stay tuned for tomorrow's installment!
This is both wonderful and wild to me. Is it a feeblitz feature or Typepad? I'm thoroughly intrigued!
