Except for those with mosquito avoidance issues, the one on the left seems to be the house of choice! And yes, Carole, we have huge mosquitoes. The Minnesota joke is that the mosquito is our state bird. We actually have mosquito houses we put out for them!

I like the one on the left as well. It's those little details that make a home charming. I enjoy those older communities where the style was both inside and outside of homes.

aww geeze, forget about the mosquitos I'd pick the house on the left! And I have a client who would probably have bought a house we have seen -- most of the ones in the neighborhood we are searching look like the one on the right. I never would have made that connection. Much more inviting. (Isn't it too cold in MN for mosquitors???)

Michele, If you need a good Florida REALTOR, I may have a couple referrals for you depending on exactly where in Florida you are.

Lisa, yes those mosquitoes are definitely an issue! When they're biting who gives a rip about architecture!

Lisa Dunn

Hey Bonnie- That home on the left IS eye catching, but the one on the right is the one I would appreciate come mosquito season!

I found your blog a few weeks ago, and I have to say I am loving your insights. I love architecture too, and love this stuff. Wish you were a Realtor here in Florida!
